Description

Prevent flash back from your honeycomb and hold down the material at the same time! Designed and manufactured in house, these hold downs are 3D printed in PETG, a non-toxic plastic polymer that offers strength and flexibility.

Pin Size
Pins are available in multiple sizes to accommodate different sized honeycomb grids. Please be sure to order a size correct for your honeycomb!. If you need a size not listed, please reach out for custom orders. If you are unsure what size to order, use your laser to cut a triangle shaped piece of material, insert into the honeycomb, and mark with a pencil where the top of your bed comes. Then measure across the cut piece to determine the diameter of your honeycomb cells. We are not responsible for wrong sized orders!

Grip Size
Our Anti-Flashback pins are custom designed to hold a specific sized material off the honeycomb bed. While you can use a larger size than the material being held, best results are achieved by using a correctly sized pin grip. Our 5mm grips work well with 1/4″ material, and 3mm with 1/8″ material. If you would like a custom size not listed, please let us know.

Profile
For CO2 lasers we recommend regular profile pins.
For diode lasers where the focus is often set by using a 2mm spacer, we recommend the low profile pins. These provide additional clearance.
